International Transactions

I get numerous calls from exports asking if purchase order funding can be used in international transaction. The answer is - it depends.

Generally speaking, po funding can be used in international transactions, provided:

a) The margins are good (go here to read about po funding and margins)
b) The customers are great (e.g. large multi-nationals)
c) You work with a factoring company that handles foreign receivables
d) You have an adequate balance between US Customers and foreign customers

If your business meets this criteria then you should have very little problems finding a finance company to underwrite your operations.
