US Government Freezing some IT Projects

I saw this piece in the WSJ about how the US Government was freezing some IT projects. Obviously this is scary to many small companies that established themselves as government resellers because the US government spends about $80 billion a year in IT.

If this materializes, the effects in the purchase order financing industry will certainly be felt. Many purchase order financing companies fund small and midsized government re-sellers - many of which may be expecting reduced or canceled orders.
